Top 20 Airlines named in 2021 for Air safety

Travelers on the fence about traveling again may want to research a list of the world’s best Top 20 airlines.

The airline safety website AirlineRatings.com published a list of “Top Airlines in World,” which traditionally ranks Airlines by safety, in-flight service, passenger comfort, and flight routes.

This year, new selection criteria are shaking up rankings. For the first time, airlines are judged partly by how they responded to the Covid-19 pandemic globally.

Editor-in-Chief Geoffrey Thomas of AirlineRatings.com said

“Covid impacted the ratings and ranking in two ways,”

“Airlines had to be Covid-manageable to our standards to be considering, and we deleted profitability as a criterion this year.

Qatar Airways took the No. 1 spot in the current year, named “Airline of the Year” by a site.

Most carriers maintained the same position as they did in the 2020 list. Qatar Airways jumped eight places to grab the top spot, ruled mainly by New Zealand Airlines.

Thomas said.

“Air New Zealand been our ‘Airline of the Year’ in six of last eight years because of its excellent innovation and cabin service,”

British Airways bounced up seven places in rankings to No. 10, while United jumped to No. 8, after not making it into the 2020 list at all.

Only airlines with seven safety stars are considering for the annual list. That rating constructs crash history, pilot-related incidents, government audits, and Covid-19protocols, like social distancing, cleaning of aircraft, and masked cabin group.
