Universal Pass for Double Vaccinated Citizen how to generate epass

The process to distribute railway passes for fully vaccinated citizens who have completed 14 days after the second dose. The government of Maharashtra has now launched an online e-pass facility to enable citizens to travel in suburban trains which are fully vaccinated. The 'Universal Travel Pass' system is developing to make it possible for citizens to obtain e-pass conveniently and smoothly. The weblink https:/ /epassmsdma.mahait.org is produced by the government and is now operational for the said purpose, the BMC said in a release.

The Relief and Rehabilitation Department has developed already a web link to provide e-pass to citizens and employees working in essential services. Using the same link, e-passes will now be available to everyday citizens who are completely vaccinated and also completed 14 days after taking the second dose for Mumbai Suburban Railway travel. The release added, Mumbaikars can now obtain 'Universal Travel Pass' using the link https:/ /epassmsdma.mahait.org.

Meanwhile, the e-pass should be saved on mobile, and after showing the e-pass on the ticket window at railway stations, the citizens will get a monthly travel pass directly from the ticket window. Therefore, offline verification will not require at stations if a universal e-pass is obtained online.

Citizens who have done with at least 14 days after administering a second dose of the Covid-19 vaccines will be eligible for the e-pass facility. Eligible citizens who apply for this pass will be automatically verified for completion of the Covid-19 Vaccination. No separate manual verification will be required for this online verification process. Citizens who use without completion of 14 days after 2nd dose of vaccine will get only after 14 days, the BMC added.

Follow the step-by-step guide to obtaining a Universal Travel pass:

1. Appropriate citizens must first open a web link- https:/ / epassmsdma.mahait.org

2. Then Click on Travel Pass for Vaccinated Citizens.

3. Then, Citizens must need to mention their mobile number registered for Covid Vaccination. after that immediately, an OTP will be received via SMS on the registered mobile number.

4. After entering the OTP, details like recipient Name, Mobile Number, recipient Reference Number, etc., will appear automatically. Then, click on the 'Generate Pass' option button.

5. On clicking, the system will automatically display the applicant's details, including the date of a first and second dosage of Covid-19 Vaccine and other relevant information.

6. The applicant must upload their photograph in the 'Self Image' option. Pictures can also be uploaded from the mobile phone's gallery, or a photo can be clicked on the spot using the mobile camera.

7. After completing these processes, the message will appear stating that the applicant will receive a link in 48 hours via SMS. Once the connection is received, the e-pass should be saved in the mobile gallery.
