Integrity Bubble Manager - To make sure that no violation of the bio bubble happens in any way, a team of four-member 'Bubble Integrity Managers' will be created for each group. The committee will keep a watchful eye to ensure that players and support staff strictly follow the regulation.

It will also be the responsibility of groups to inform the authorities about any potential breach of the protocols.

One team, One hotel - The BCCI officials have gone a step ahead to prevent players from mingling with someone even in the hotel. BCCI has stipulated that the team should try and book entire hotels for the squads. If it's not possible, a whole hotel wing would be reserved for the team and sealed off those group parts. The aim is to decrease the chance of physical interaction with people from outside.

Mandatory COVID tests - Before entering the bubble, all those not coming from another bubble will have to go through three RT-PCR tests over seven days. Only after when they test negative in all of them would they be allowed to join the bubble.

Use of saliva Ban - There will be a prohibition on the use of saliva to shine the ball. In such cases, the umpires might penalize the bowling team for five runs in case of multiple violations. The saliva ban was imposing during IPL 2020 as well.

Strict bio-bubble - The bio bubble measures will remain applicable to the IPL players participating in the tournament, the owners of the teams, and even the family members of players. They can only leave the bubble if it is essential before which they will have to get permission from BCCI's Chief Medical Officer to exit the bubble.

Green Zone - To ensure a complete cut-off from the people in the hotel, the players will have separate check-in counters at the hotels. These would ensure that they remain separated from outside elements throughout their transit from room to field.

Balls to be replaced - If the ball goes into the stands, the original ball will be sanitized and placed in the library of the ball on returning the ball. The step has been taken as a precautionary measure as the tournament is likely to see in-stadium crowds.
