Dreams of Cristiano Ronaldo for PSG Crushed by Leo Messi

Dreams of Cristiano Ronaldo for PSG Crushed by Leo Messi

The Transfer window is into its final month, the summer for the major European leagues, which means the most prominent clubs are looking to make a mark in the market before the new season begins.

Where to now for Ronaldo?

The former Barcelona star Lionel Messi has agreed to join Paris Saint-Germain AS suggests that fellow superstar Cristiano Ronaldo monitor the situation differently.

The Portugal star has reportedly been looking to leave his current club Juventus, with disappointment over their dissatisfaction in the Champions League playing a part in his unease.

PSG is the club capable of signing the 36-year-old Talisman, but bringing in Messi would make any move for Cristiano Ronaldo unfeasible even if there is no transfer fee to be paid.

There has also been talking of Kylian Mbappe joining Real Madrid. Still, there is a belief that even moving the 22-year-old Mbappe on for a considerable transfer fee would not be enough for Parc des Princes to help get Ronaldo.

So, while the idea of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi playing in the same team is enough to get pretty much excitement for any football fan, it seems as though there is no chance of that happening.

Things are very complicated for Ronaldo as he plots his route out of Turin.

After a long summer break full of transfer supposition, In the Gamper Trophy on Sunday, Cristiano Ronaldo is ready to make his preseason debut.

In a Friendly encounter, Barcelona will host Juventus, and Leo Messi won’t be present on the pitch; following the shocking exit announcement from the club on Thursday, his old adversary should be ready to go.

After Portugal's involvement in Euro 2020, CR7 took an extended summer holiday, evocatively to most of the first-team stars – thus missing the first two friendly encounters against Cesena and Monza.
