WhatsApp Groups can now have 512 members after rolling out to the beta version

WhatsApp Groups can now have 512 members after rolling out to the beta version

WhatsApp has been bringing several new features to the instant messaging platform over the last many weeks, but one feature that users had been waiting for for a long time is now coming to beta users of the forum. We are talking about vast WhatsApp Groups, which can now accommodate 512 members instead of 256.

WhatsApp announced last month that the change would be coming soon to the app. The latest report by WABetaInfo has suggested that WhatsApp Beta users on Android and iOS see the ability to create larger WhatsApp groups.

While the increased capacity will be good news to many WhatsApp users in colleges, offices, or other groups of more than 256 users may be needed in one group.

WhatsApp is far behind rivals Telegram, which lets you cram 2,00,000 users into a single group.

The ability to create huge WhatsApp Groups is coming to WhatsApp Beta version number 22.12.0.70 on iOS and version 2.22.12.10 on Android. If you’re not on the beta version program, worry not because the feature could soon be rolling out to stable versions of WhatsApp.
